Oracle Card 12: Trust

Think now to all that is permanent and stable in your life. This is the time for appreciation. It is a time to look back over all your past experiences in life and assess what you have learnt so far. Every happening, opportunity and memory holds a lesson to use in some way - make sure you take the time to reap the rewards of these lessons.

If you assess your life with honesty and fairness you will gain a deep inner wisdom. This will extend not only to yourself but everyone else in your life.

If you stop and take time to look at a tree, you will see the meaning of wisdom right before your eyes. They stand for hundreds of years, watching and listening with their calm swaying beauty and individuality. They hold strength in abundance. If you feel low and lacking in energy - or unable to calm down and act with patience, take the time to stand with your back against the trunk of a tree and feel a positive energy revive you. Nature holds many forms of energy replenishment and transformation. It may be worth your while to look into these ideas further.

Sometimes with this card we get the lesson of self-denial or personal sacrifice. When we put the wishes of others before our own, we are being truly selfless. But we also need to recognise when we are giving too much to others at the expense of ourselves - or, when we take on someone else's problems, we may, in fact, be stopping them from learning their own lessons in life, and thereby delaying their life progress (as well as our own). It is not easy to assess and keep this balance at all times, but if we keep good intentions and stand tall, with patience and trust, the true way and the true answers will always be revealed to us.

SELF AND SELF DEVELOPMENT
Learn a sense of detachment. To look at a problem from afar gives it a wider perspective and will help to clarify things.
HOME AND FAMILY
There is a sense of warmth, togetherness and permanency in the unity of families. Secure this for yourself, then look to those less fortunate and help instil these feelings whenever you can.
LOVE EMOTIONS AND ROMANCE
Few people act with true wisdom when affairs of the heart are involved, but you must try. Arguments are pointless and destructive.
MONEY AND POSSESSIONS
Watch savings and investments. Planting the right seeds now will result in a secure and happy future. Do not take risks.
WORK HOBBIES AND CAREER
Correct preparation and perseverance are needed now. Do not expect changes overnight. Hard, consistent work will produce great results in the long term.
HEALTH
Life can become boring and monotonous sometimes and as a result our spirits become low. Remember though, this is just a temporary thing. New energy will be generated by enthusiasm and new challenges.
FRIENDS AND SOCIAL LIFE
It may seem slow and difficult sometimes to form new friendships or to settle into a new environment. Perseverance will bring wonderful rewards to you, so don't give up.
